Reviews
- Fine sounding CDs, a lot of music and a nice booklet for an affordable price (paid 35 €). The vinyl is rather a give away. Mine is flat and quiet, but definitely too dark sounding.
- Le vynil est une vraie catastrophe ! Le son est étouffé, pas de dynamique. Le reste du coffret est top
- All the FM albums I have are beautifully remixed on the dvd for 5.1 surround sound. I love this boxset with all the bonus material, but I really wouldve liked a 5.1 mix. The Rosebud film is short and kinda dissapointing.
- Edited 3 years agoMy LP in the box set has the Grey/Hoffman mastering. It also has the pressing plant etchings (18665) that match the standalone LP pressed at Pallas: Fleetwood Mac - Rumours

Sounds fantastic! The price sticker indicates it is from 2013 stock, so perhaps the earliest copies have the Pallas KG/SH LP.... - Ref: R2-533806 I have this version and so far I am blown away with the sound quality - the vinyl is lovely and the remastered cd is awesome. The bonus tracks are fascinating and much better than many ofther artists let the public hear.
- Edited 6 years agoI have to say-- having a NM first edition US pressing, and a NM MFSL pressing-- this one kind of blows. Noisy vinyl, sort of rolled off at the top end. Some lovely compression added to squash out those gorgeous seventies dynamics -- just for the earbud fans! Oh, and has a very stylish edge warp. Under light the vinyl looked abused, like someone sat on it. Came in a cheap scratchy white paper sleeve that was literally glued to the vinyl by static electricity. Not feelin' the love much on this one...
- The quality of vinyl is really very very poor. It sounds like it was sourced from a totally worn compact casette. CD's are quite fine.
- Edited 10 years agovinyl & CD's pressed in eu.
poor quality vinyl, had to go through 4 copies to get a good one, even then it is noisy.
sound does not match a good original us pressing. - I see the remaster was handled by the same guys (Bill Inglot & Dan Hersch) that did the 2004 remaster, but the song sequence is slightly different ("Silver Springs" is moved to the end). Is this a NEW remaster by the same guys, or is it just the previous remaster with a different sequence?
