The Limeliters were part of the "Folk Revival" genre of the USA in the early 1960's, very talented and very commercial. This might put off some folk "purists", but the music and talent speaks for itself, and is very entertaining. This is another Limeliters album that has been unjustly reviewed elsewhere on the internet. On this album, the group chose to record exclusively songs out of the American folk music canon. The performances are excellent. If you like American folk music or the Limeliters, this album belongs in your collection, and you will cherish it.
