I played this today, the 1st time in 25 years and it still sounds great, The vibes of Obedience are still superb and I agree with the other comment below this should be spoken about in the same vein as Wormhole. This was truly inspirational in the original release. The Piper remix is well worth hunting down as to improves this greatly.

I Let You sounds so much like something that would later come out on Hospital records (if the beats were more interesting and the track sounded faster)
To me it really sounds like High Contrast. Logistics and even Comix has copied the template of this track more than once?

I did not like this album at all, it was incredibly simplistic and repetitive. Magnetic was far better. Much more engaging and detailed.

'Wish U Had Something' is an excellent track! Well ahead of its time.

This is an absolutely brilliant album by the legend that is Jonny L. A fantastic electronic lp mainly consisting of drum & bass with lovely drum patterns (Detroit, Treading), melodies (I let u, 2 of us, Tychonic cycle) and darker tech step territory (Piper, S4, Obedience, Wish u had something).

I have fond memories of picking this up on cd from Our price back in the day and paying a guy £20 for the box set back in 1999. This is a must have album for any dnb fan and contains as far as i'm concerned, the best dnb tune off all time 'Piper' 10/10

Very sought after album by Jonny L still does not sound all that dated despite being released in 1997. Make no mistake about it... the LP shaped drum & bass and should be mentioned in the same breath Ed Rush and Optical's "Wormhole" as far as its impact on the scene. Wish U Had Something, I Let U and Piper are some of the stronger tunes, but there is no fluff on this album. Deep, dark, intelligent, ground breaking... this 5X10" has it all. A must for all lovers of music... not just D&B.
