Edited 6 years agoTodd Terje´s first and last business with a major record label.. Here is the reason:
This records was pressed, manufactured and already started selling while Terje went trough the unsigned contract from Soul Jazz with a lawyer. around 60 records was released (63 to be exact) before he discovered it. Todd Terje, a minor control freak, has since then done things on his own or released on very independent local companies run by trustworthy people. Despite the massive success of "It´s The Arps" & "It´s Album Time", you will never see it licensed to bigger companies. Very much like what Daft Punk did with their early works. "Music Sounds Better With You" for instance was never licensed away on vinyl other than Roulé & Virgin.. Much respect to Todd for staying on his grounds..
