There are so many represses of Blauer Samt, why isn't there a repress of this true classic?!

No way this was released in 1996. I'm absolutely sure that I bought my double LP in the autumn of 1995.
Even back then I was wondering why it says "1996" on the sleeve. If you check old issues of HipHop Magazines from 1995 you will find a review of that LP (for example Backspin No.4 from October 1995).
