Joey Beltram used the synthie part at the end of "Mihon #1" for his 1994 track "South pacific".
If you like stuff in the vein of "Mihon #2" and darker + more minimalistic, you should check out his not so well known album "Aonox".

Regarding the "Mihon" record itself: "Mihon #3" is one of the ultimate serious trancey Acid classics from back then.
Always had fun when the noisy sound around minute 6:00 appeared :)

"Mihon #1" is also a club classic, that is funky, bouncey and trancey at the same time and has some nice aggressive crash cymbals waking you up, before falling into a trance.

Totally agree - Mihon 3 - played by Colin Dale on Abstract Dance - dark rich sounds. Very special to have this one on pod communication. Great track. Timeless!

Yes, an amazing feeling it was back then...
I heard this track for the first time right out of the oven in 1992. Played by the man himself, Ata, at a small club in Munich.

I first heard Mihon #3 in Holger Wick's documetnation "We Call It Techno" and immediately was blown away. Ever since that day for me, as a latecomer (born in 1990) with regards to the ermergence of techno Mihon #3 always reflected the atmosphere and the sense of life I associate with the early techno movement in Berlin (straight) after the reunification. With the wind of change blowing through abandoned factory buildings and industrial wastelands as leftovers of a collapsed system and the sheer unlimited freedom that was returned to the citizens of the former GDR. And whenever I listen to this record I deeply bewail I haven't witnessed these times myself. What an amazing feeling that must have been....

One of the best acid tracks. Mihon#3 is the best mix for me. Very haunting. I remember this track was played a lot on MTV's party zone back in 1992. The track was also used by a music & video mix by coldcut along with other video's. I believe it was broadcasted exclusively by MTV. They have done more mixes but the one with Mihon is the best. I have those mixes on VHS but would love to have them on DVD.
                      Awesome track.
