Notes

This vinyl album has been recorded as an analogue album. It was recorded on 2 inch 24 track analogue tape and mixed onto half inch analogue tape and mastered with no digital processing involved.

The vinyl is a true analogue cut, i.e. it hasn't been put through a digital process during the cutting process unlike over 90% of all vinyl available today.

"The vinyl will be limited due to manufacturing restrictions."

Housed in a gatefold sleeve in the left side and pressed on 180 gram vinyl.
The CD comes in a card sleeve with an 8-page booklet.

A beautiful beautiful album. If it sounds muddy you need a better stylus and/or better speakers. Almost as perfect as Loveless imo and Loveless is the greatest album ever recorded.

Actually a really bad (!!!) record at all. You will not here it twice (which is my personal opinion)

In the email I received today in reference to the upcoming May 2021 reissue it says "Fully analog cuts of the 2013 album m b v will also be available on deluxe and standard LPs globally for the first time". How can that be true when this release was marketed to us as fully analog in 2013?

Anyone have an extra outer sleeve? Mine came damaged when I bought it in 2013 and I stupidly never asked for a new one then.

Sounds great! Not as good as loveless but it is still amazing and the pressing isn’t terrible.

Sure Kevin we're maybe not as adroit as you, sound wise, but it still needs a serious bump sound wise. You know it mate. Make it happen.

I am going to chime in with the same thing alot of you are saying and that is bumping up the treble and dropping the bass improves the mix significantly! I have owned this since it came out and I can't believe that I never tried doing this . I tend to have my bass set higher than treble as a default . I have a vintage Kenwood receiver and the bass doesn't really have much punch even on the highest setting. But I couldn't believe the difference it made dropping it down to 0. I re listened to my copy of Loveless and even that sounded waaay better lowering the bass.
This may be a new shoegaze setting for me.

I just bought a sealed copy from Amazon(reluctantly) for $30 free shipping (best deal at the moment) and it's super nice. Flat pressing. Great dynamics. It's what I was hoping for. Maybe I got lucky with this copy. I can understand how it's a big unknown how modern records will turn out nowadays.
