Notes
This is the first edition, with gold labels and without the Macola manufacturing and distribution info around the edge of the label. Macola added that text to later editions for the distributors to know where to re-order from. This edition also has Uncle Jamms Army contact info, and both large and small circular impressions from the stamper.

- Edited 3 years ago1st press variation also available: all exactly as per the listing, minus the wide label groove, just the smaller circle. 100% authentic, you can tell by the indent from the pressing head its of the time. Hard to accept this has peaked at around £15 for the highest sale on the 'Oggs; a genuine 1st press would exchange hands for double that back in the mid 90's!!!!
- does anyone know the official runtimes on the tracks on this original 12"? I have this actual 12" myself but short of ripping it to a CD, I don't remember the runtimes...
- Pressing order:
1st Freak Beat / golden labels / no Macola distribution
2nd Freak Beat / golden labels / Macola distribution
3rd Egyptian Empire / pyramid labels / West Coast Records distribution
4th Egyptian Empire / beige labels / West Coast Records distribution - this record was my startup on electro...the sheer unstoppable intro even pisses off tour de france by kraftwerk, (which is hardly possible), that crazy comic like egyptian melody in the middle is just crazy, and the breakdown is legendary!
