Reviews
- Edited one year agoCannot find this single, found the sheet music to 'Back To YPSILANTI' though, added the image to artist profile...he has the 'stache!
- Absolutely fantastic single. The titular track is essential listening for anyone who has spent time around the Ypsilanti area. Released the year I was born, in the city where I was born, this record is near and dear to me. Even if you know nothing of Ypsilanti, you will be hard pressed to get the title track out of your head. Lee Osler captures the essential spirit of a feeling that just doesn't seem to exist in the modern world. It's just about perfect : wistful, catchy, and truly unique. Highly recommended if you can get a hold of one of the few copies floating around. While cruising the internet, I came across some mention that the pressing for this particular single was around 500 copies. Snag a copy and wherever you are, you can always go back to Ypsilanti.
