Reviews
- Forget about the term "progressive" it's pretty well meaningless anyways
this LP offers some good tribal house with a bit of an IDM touch to it.
The Moody's have been around since day one of UK acid house, and
have always delivered some quality tunes with classy dub inspired bass lines.
It seems that this album is a bit under valued though, which is strange because
you never see it around (only a handful of copies made it over to the states after
it was released) very much, and to the best of my knowledge, has never been
reissued. Worth picking up, since copies in the UK are criminally inexpensive
at the moment. I predict that will not last long however. - Tribal, warm and organic, with a very ethno feel, but with some cracking funky tunes on it. Less of the wistful, futuristic feel of a lot of prog, but if you drop 'Shango' at the right time in the right set, the place will go with you. Often forgotten, but very serviceable.
