Edited 10 years agoIt would be interesting to know something more about "The Pennsylvania Gospel Group" and "The Pearls Of Joy" (nothing in the Artist's database.) On this album indeed two different groups of performers and music styles are distinctly audible. On the majority of the tracks one hears a mostly bluesy, jazzy or soulfull swinging Gospel band, on five of the tracks a more traditional not to say stereotypical and a bit droll church choir. Especially the first band makes the record (prob. from 1967) worth to listen to. Regarding this band: 3,5-4/5. Any clues?
