Notes
Band name and title on red background above cover art with black boxed EMI logo.
Yellow spine with track listing on wraparound. Two part fold-out inlay printed both sides features track listing/credits and Beatles 'heads'.
White cassette body with pale green paper labels including boxed EMI and Parolophone logos. Features the text: THIS STEREO "MUSICASSETTE" ALSO GIVES GENUINE MONAURAL REPRODUCTION.
First and second pressings have the cat. no on the clear leader tape itself (see scan). Later pressings do not contain any identifier on the tape.
This cassette was first released on October 1967 as documented by the EMI leaflet, here front and back. Moreover, see Tape Recording Magazine, November 1967 (pag. 415), in which appear the front of the cassette cover.
However, Very first version has the following text under side numbers on paper labels: SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS, SEE PRICE LISTS.
This is possibly a second release as indicated by lack of the "Sold in the UK..." blurb under Side 1 and 2 numbers. Also, the screws are omitted. An identifier is present on tape leader (PC-7027-FO?).
