Fantastic tune. Discovered it at the time as it was included on the first "Robodisco" vinyl comp on Paperecordings...

AndrewHP, also try Double Exposure's "My Love is Free" (https://www.discogs.com/artist/8272-Double-Exposure) as well for sample source as a slower version and recorded a year earlier than Carl Bean...both tracks have the same Producers/Arrangers so they would have just taken the sound 'with' them as it were. And for another nice use of My Love is Free sample see Hardrive's "Just Believe" (https://www.discogs.com/Hardrive-Deep-Inside/master/401133) ...there'll be other examples of its use out there!

Actually coming back to this a couple of years down the road from my last sample spot (which wasn't 100% right!) I think the vocal and drum loop are from the Better Days version of Carl Bean's "I Was Born This Way" - https://www.discogs.com/Carl-Bean-I-Was-Born-This-Way-Remixes/release/1393084

I think this is my favourite Jus' Trax release. I bought it back in 1995 and dug it out again recently and gave it a spin at a party and it blew me away how fresh it still sounds. I had no idea it was so sought after but can fully appreciate why.

Fantastic tune - samples Montana's "Warp Factor II" (which actually has a track called "7th Movement" on its flipside).

in my list of top ten house tracks...a minimal disco track, really, with thick, elevated and irresistible congos in Larry Washington/Walter Gibbons style... heard everywhere in the mid-90s.

Awesome deep disco house music for the soul. A mesmerising flute lights up the record and the groove is just fantastically funky. A big record with DJs that know!
