I absolutely love the three music soundtracks they've released in recent years - The Krotons, The Invasion and The Daleks. More recently the impetus seems to have moved over to the stories themselves (with additional narration) - I expect these narrated stories have wider appeal than the purely musical soundtracks, but I MUCH prefer the music ones. Are there plans to release any more music soundtracks? I would love to see the likes of Terror Of The Autons, The Sea Devils, Ambassadors Of Death, Claws Of Axos, Spearhead From Space, The Mind Robber and many many more released as pure music soundtracks on vinyl featuring all of the incidental music. Is it even technically possible for the BBC to isolate the music from all of the sixties and seventies Doctor Who episodes for audio release? Or does the fact that presumably many of those old stories don't exist as audio multi-tracks prevent them being released as music soundtracks?

I'm also a big admirer of the wonderful music score of City Of Death and I was so disappointed when they released it on vinyl to discover that it was merely the narrated story rather than the isolated music soundtrack. If most of the older stories don't exist as audio multi-tracks, how did they manage to isolate the music from The Krotons, The Invasion and The Daleks? Has it become possible using sophisticated digital audio software to isolate the music from such soundtracks? Any more information on the subject of classic Doctor Who music soundtracks, from fans or technical people involved in Doctor Who releases, would be most welcome.
