This entry should be deleted as all the Liquid EP copies out there have the same tracklisting. People think that the XL version is on this white label but it's not, the original Liquid Is Liquid has nothing to do with the xl remix and all these AME 001 have Liquid Is Liquid (Original, B1) and Liquid Beats (B2) which is a shorter version of B1.

      This entry is confusing people

There is indeed a much later bootleg, using scanned & re-printed label art. Sellers- if your copy for sale is a scan, you can tell by looking at the black print, which has a slightly pixelated look & is a glossy finish, you can easily tell it's not original with a close inspection. I wasn't aware of the bootleg, but just knew from looking & sent back the copy I received. I didn't think to make a listing for it at the time, but will if I come across any others...

Buyer beware when buying copies of this, there is a bootleg version doing the rounds
I've got an original press & one of the bootlegs, I bought this bootleg version from replay records early 2000's
Looking at them side by side there is slight differences
The label artwork looks like it has been scanned & the copyright text around the edge is a not as clear as the original pressing
and the artwork is loads more glossy than the original pressing & blacker in colour
Secondly the AME 001 etchings are in different hand writing, the length of the cut/grooves is different too
Someone had put alot of work into this to make it look the same as the original pressing
So don't spend silly money on this unless you know it is an genuine pressing

A friend of Eamon's lent him £1,000 to get this pressed up. He distributed it by hand, with Ray Keith in City Sounds being the first to really get behind the tune. Pete Tong then played it on the Essential Selection and the following Monday Eamon rang around record labels to see if anyone was interested. A lot were, but wanted to make changes to the tune which Liquid didn't want. XL then got in touch in 1992 to sign the track.
