Reviews
- This illegal disc was the work of "Chill Bill" aka William Kamarra from Brooklyn NY (Nilkam / Rota Enterprises). Mel Cheren tipped off the Police and Kamarra arrested and charged with grand larceny in 1983. Prison time followed. Kamarra would later co-found the hip hop label "B-Boy Records and release KRS-One and Boogie Down Productions.
- The key changes are all over the place, but it's just wacky and fun enough that you won't really care.
- I remember buying this 12' in high school from Douglas Records in downtown Baltimore. It was released in the spring of 1982. I thought I had lost this record over a decade ago. I found it (of all places) my ex-wife house about a year ago.
I transferred it to mp3 and it's part of my work recordings. Very hard to find and very under-appreciated! Great mix!
