WORDS WORDS WORDS- Great pressing, I’ve had since 2013 and still holds up to this day. This album is in need of a repress!!! A peach colored vinyl!!!!
To answer someone else’s question about this press carrying over some of that CD compression sucking sound, it’s not noticeable here…. But, you have to realize the separate instruments were subjected to varying degrees of compression and/or limiters, so there is an overall compression, but not the suction that you hear from having your attack set to quickly and release set too long on the master or bus. It’s an enjoyable listen, but just don’t compare it to a Neil Young album, it’s chockfull of frequencies and modern pads, so it is what it is. I’m glad I bought this in edition to my squashed CD.
My audio is fine! Great album and would recommend to any Phoenix fan.
I don’t understand what everyone else’s problem with this pressing is. My copy sounds rich and detailed, clear, and the vinyl is quiet.
Popped this in and holy hell is audio low. Plus surface noise hysteria between all songs on every phoenix album. Also ti amo has the same aq problem, screw you glassnote- does the mp3 card include the deluxe album material or just the regular album?
