Actually that eerie sample in the main track is originally from the sound track of Serial Experiments Lain. I don't know if James sampled it from the movie or resampled it from the Hi Tech Child release. There are different versions of the sound track in existence and I was checking them all but couldn't figure the exact track out but the episode this is appearing in is #10.

A side's eerie background is sampled from "Taifun" by Hi Tech Child but James Ruskin delivered the arrangements it needed to turn the whole thing into a better, more coherent track IMO.

Still, my favorite out of this excellent release is the track B2, it could have lasted 10 min, just love the atmosphere...

Excellent EP not to be missed! A side contains one of the best Ruskin tracks ever, if not the best. Powerful techno with a heavy driving drum beat, futuristic atmosphere, one of my all time favorite. TIP!
