- The dilapidated building on the cover, demolished soon after the picture appeared, was 13 Fairfax Road, Prestwich. It was council owned. The site was turned into a car park. The building to the left, despite the hexagram in the upper window (which has Catholic symbolism), was originally built in 1891 as a Catholic church/school. It is now the parish hall for the Our Lady of Grace Catholic church which was built next door in c1931. Note the three figures in the photo. Paul Hanley apparently in the doorway. Mark E Smith in front of the window. Another, unconfirmed, head visible further left between the church hall and #13.
