Worth the prove of admission for ‘brownstone express’ pure soulful House music that’s well ahead of its time, it’s short so you need two copies ;)
A beauty.

Straphanger is everything you'd ever want from a house track: relentless acidy bleeps, classic Burrell drums and a nice stabby string part. Hopefully they get round to repressing it soon

"Brownstone Express" seduces with a melancholic mix of warm, soothing keys and a cold, metallic bassline; an exclusive instrumental that conveys feeling far beyond words. "Straphanger" interests with lust-filled whispers (perhaps discretely directed towards an attractive female commuter on the subway) swimming under acidic, off-beat keys and exhilerating stabs of multiple strings . "Rush Hour" and "Turnstyle Turbulance" are nice pieces that smooth out and fill in between the better tracks. The title "$1.15 Please" suggests the amount the MTA (Metropolitan Transit Authority)[circa 1990] asked for a standard fare.
