The Lullaby In Dub mix is just silly good. Wish I'd heard it back in the day on the floor.

Good to see it's getting a reissue via Four Tet on Text. Maybe then it might drive the price down on this pressing.

This tune has nothing to do with Four tet just because he stuck it on some mix and did a re rub of it.
It was always a tune that 'those in the know' were aware of for donkeys years and only recently the price has gone stupid. five years ago you could get this record for cheap. Such are the tides of musical fashion. Hang on to those old 2 Step tunes...
I've got two copies, so what?
It's a good tune, well ahead of its time. Enough bullshit has already been spouted about this record. Enough said.

One of the most under-rated and truly enigmatic tracks to emerge out of 1998. Four Tet has finally shone a light on this incredible production, via his Fabric Mix, which people seem to be reacting to in a positive way. I remember I first heard it on EZs Kiss 100 show and it sunk without a trace. Took me some serious digging to unearth it, I even heard a rumour it was a well-known producer but never got to the bottom of it... Just to be a tease, I have since found 3 copies (sold one to Duncan Powell which he played on Subjam, for the record!) and the other two are stashed somewhere secret...

Enough rambling, this is surely one of the most original Garage productions and certainly in my all-time top five. Sounds ahead of the game nearly fifteen years on.
