Digitalape’s review is spot on, this is an amazing comp with hours of great music. Lovingly curated, great sound, and interesting and informative liner notes, with plenty of band pictures. It’s not quite the historical document that Bobo Yéyé is, but I find the music more compelling and varied

What a wonderful album. Packed with huge tunes, months later and I’m still finding gems that I’d overlooked earlier. Sound quality on most tracks is on par with European recordings of the same era. If you’re a DJ you could do a killer hour set with just this album, that’s how many great tracks there are.

The LP's sound great, the 45 is unplayable. Right out of the sleeve constant skipping, so I cleaned it, and it still won't play.
