Reviews
- Great sounding album on the U.S. Sugar Hill CD. I don't think Chris, Herb and Jay Dee have ever sounded better. Jay Dee in particular shows what a wonderful musician he is on this 1996 set. He carries the entire thing with his virtuosity on Pedal Steel. That is not meant to diminish, in any way, the performances of the other musicians on this quite wonderful album. If you cherish traditional American music, you must have this recording in your collection. Musicians and artists of the calibre of Chris, Herb and Jay Dee are the real stars of country music and if you buy this CD and listen to it on a good system, you'll soon find out why that is so. A pure treasure!
