Klubbheads – Kickin' Hard Is a Great Hard House Album Vinyl From Blue Records in Netherlands. Wonderful DJ Team.
    • Edited 19 years ago
Once upon a time, playing a Klubbheads production was guaranteed to pack the floor. For many a DJ who purchsed their every release, Klubbheads were the undisputed inventors of Bounce House, or Scouse House as it's probably referred to these days. Up until 1998, people were still going off to a sound that was half-way between upbeat House and Eurodance. While other producers like Brooklyn Bounce had already experimented with the sound, it wasn't until the release of Klubbheads' 'Kickin' Hard' that a new style was truley defined. The distinctive bass line, sirens and gated synth featured here would go on to influence a countless amount of German, Dutch and even Australian producers including the later-to-be-crowned Aussie NRG king Nick Skitz. Tragically, the style has since worn quite thin due to artists failing to evolve the sound, but still remains extremely popular in many European and Australian clubs.
