I have the label variant 3 above, and my inner gatefold sleeve is signed by a label executive the day after its release, the 27th November 1971. It is also confirmed that this guy delivered the record to the particular thrift store that I purchased it from. How come this variant have matrix runout #5 listed on the label-variant-1? They use the same set of metal work for the first run. It would be interesting to investigate why all these label-print of the red plum were so messed up for only its 5 initial weeks in 1971. Since I have the one purchased the day after release, it must be the definitive first UK pressing (label variant 3). Anyone have more in depth and "proof" of the different variants?

When I was 19 years old I saw Yes live in El Paso, TX. Close To The Edge tour, I think. 1976 or 77. Giant three-headed dragon hovering over the stage and pit, laser eyes, super loud concert. The weed was flowing freely and I still love and respect their music after around 45 years.

Fifty years old this year (2021) but still sounds as though it could fit in with current tastes in music.

The Steven Wilson 2013 remix has brought it up to date as regards sound quality and clarity.

Yes Fragile shootout. I just compared (Roundabout only) three different versions:
            - the Steven Wilson remastered (from the box set)
            - the 2016 Rhino Kevin Gray remaster
            - the 2006 Analogue Productions audiophile reissue

All sound great. The Wilson slightly lighter but with a wider stereo image. I prefer the Analogue as it has more weight and „wooden warmth“.
The MFSL 190€ edition is missing as well as some 70s original mix.

My copy has the inner gatefold printed upside down, including the booklet. Does anyone else have that?

If only there was a picture disc for this, I'd love to have one just for display

                  I have another permutation:

                  7.
                  - crediting Arnakata/Kinney Music as publisher for track A2
                  - A2 song title breaks after "Symphony"
                  - B5 song title and writers' credits on one line
                  - B-side publishers in one line
                  - *Rondor* Music

                  Matrix codes:
                  A//1 1 2 13
                  B//1 1 1 12

Don't know how to add this to database so leaving as a comment.

I seem to be having a spot of trouble finding my copy on here. If anyone can help I would be most grateful. SIDE A is (etched) S2 K-50009 A3
                    SIDE B (etched) 21 K-50009 B3
‘Fragile’ is printed in the centre of the upper green half of the label and ‘Made in UK’ on the left hand side in the orange half underneath STEREO. The only one I can find close to this says ‘Manufactured in UK.’
                    Thank you in advance.

I am wondering why this is going for ten times more than Yes - Fragile???!!! Only for the small publishing difference on labels... Ridiculous!
