It is hard to figure out why this record has not been reissued like other Nucleus LP's have. Asking price for it is plain daft. If for example people are getting it for the title track then why not simply buy the "Direct Hits" compilation and pay a fraction of the cost of "Roots" the LP as a result ? Only way forward for the fans is to boycott the greed implicit in this story and campaign with whoever has control of the album currently for vinyl re-issue. Given its popularity and the vinyl revival; got to be a no brainer. After all, sadly, the artists involved are not getting a penny of the proceeds as it currently stands, so unless unbeknown to us; the artists involved are blocking re-issue for whatever reason; I cannot see what the problem is apart from missing tapes etc.

We need a decent reissue of this récord, its a shame the price of this vinyl, maybe the label "we release whaterever the fuck we want records" could release nucleus records, they did a lot of effort to bring back to life those hard to find jewels

Fantastic UK Jazz with progressive leanings (Vertigo records). Most own it for the sampleable Roots however it is a strong LP throughout.
