Notes

Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Terre Haute pressing with catalog number appearing as CPN 0216 on spine and as CPN-0216 on label.

Some promotional copies come with a hype sticker and suggested tracks for airplay on the front cover. Gold stamp states promotional use only. Otherwise, they are identical to the retail release.

Produced and engineered by Ken Scott for Komos Productions.

The cover credit for mastering was incorrectly stated by the Capricorn art department. The actual dead wax scribing is "DWJ/2".
Mastered by Darrell Johnson at JVC Cutting Center, Los Angeles.

Side A recorded at Chateau Recorders, Los Angeles; Mountain Recorders,
Montreux, Switzerland; and Axis Sound Studio, Atlanta.
Side B recorded live at the Montreux Jazz Festival, July 23, 1978.

Not one of their better efforts. I love this band but I really struggle with this album. Many mediocre to dull moments especially the live 'The Bash', an overlong piece of unalloyed hillbilly garbage which the audience goes absolutely nuts for, which makes it doubly annoying.
