- Sorry to say my copy has static-like crackling on track B7 in particular, which is the best track. Static sound increases toward the center of the record. It's a problem of the pressing. I recorded it to digital; you can see the sound waves. While dust and scratches cause upward spikes on a sound wave, this pressing has inverted spikes or gaps where the sound drops out. While dust and scratches create pops, these gaps create static-like clicks. Got a plastic sleeve though, not paper.
- You can’t even seen Henry’s eyes on first presses (lame). Glad they fixed that on these bw releases by drawing some on.
- The cover is low-fi as hell! Damn, they could have done a better scan... it looks like they removed the contrast. But I like the sound I mean. It's an old hardcore album so don't need it to sound like Gustav Mahler's 5th simphony!
- Is this a recent or old repress? Any idea about the year? The label says 1984 but it's not likely. Also the paper sleeve is similar to later SST re-releases.
