I have a sleeve which is numbered, it seems some are numbered, and others are not. Does anyone know why? For reference it is number 1839, and stamped right above "Not for sale".
I just picked up a copy at Meditations in Kyoto where the owner Shiota told me a little about the story of this record. Apparently it was originally given away as part of a fashion promotion. I wish they were still selling the shirt and record combo now and I've been trying to work out what it would have looked like based on the tunes? Some sort of acidy blissed out dolphin print perhaps, or maybe a dark velvet long sleeve turtleneck. Anyway, this record is absolutely magnificent!
This has just recently been reissued on cd and vinyl, should hit stores soon
