Edited one year agoFreddie McGregor's "Beat Down Babylon" is a cover of the Junior Byles original, or so you would think. Tropical All Stars get no credit for originating the rhythm and melody on their "Righteous Rastaman" recorded in Toronto in 1971. The rhythm was later used by Scratch in 1975 on Bunny & Ricky's "Freedom Fighter".
