"Fela Kuti-meets-Kraftwerk-on-the-dancefloor" (International Musician, USA, '86)

This LP has a very unique feel to it, mainly because of two aspects. First it has a clear vision, the concept is imprinted here from start to finish and second the interesting instrumentation, a mix of electronic drums and synth, acoustic percussion, and african vocals. It really stands between two genres and can only be classified as afro-electronic.
If you like the two youtube clips this is made for you,
I would recommend to check A1 & B1 as well.
