Tracks 16 to 20 are taken from "For As Many As Will" (Topic 12TS 380) released in 1978. Tracks 21 to 24 consist of the four tracks from the 1963 "Heroes in Love" 7"EP (Topic 95).

All tracks are stereo, except 9, 10 and 21-24.

Shirley Collins has gone on record many times about David Tibet's integral part in her 're-discovery' and this is where it started for many, a peerless compilation seared in my brain, for me her best songs showing that clear unadorned voice cutting through to years you didn't know existed...plus it has 'rambleaway'. If looking for a place to start with Shirley start here
