- Edited 12 years agoKeith Berry states that his music contains the spirit of Eastern philosophies, poetry and other sources of deep knowledge. After listening "The Ear That Was Sold To A Fish" it may seem quite true. This is definitely more than another deep and hypnotizing ambient album. The drones sound so solid, that you cannot get into their structure and may think they have their own life. And scattered are different noises: "dog-whistling", crackling, hissing... Keith Berry calls them blocks of sound that can unlock brain mechanisms, which prevent enlightenment. And I say it is 100% true. "The Ear That Was Sold To A Fish" was the only album that caused me to have the deepest and most impressive out-of-body experience ever. A very special piece of soundwork, not to be missed out.
