Reviews
- The greatest activity in progressive rock in Japan occurred during the 1980s, represented by bands such as Gerard, Outer Limits, Pageant, etc. Just prior to that, there were a few lesser-known Japanese prog bands, and the best of them was Shingetsu. They released an early-Genesis influenced album (self-titled) in 1979 that still stands as one of the very best Japanese prog records. This live CD allows the listener to hear Shingetsu on stage, a month after the release of their debut album.
