Reviews
- Louise Forestier made some eclectic & trippy recordings with Quebec rocker Robert Charlebois (Lindberg, Californie, etc), and her own solo albums have featured several members of progressive rock band Vos Voisins (formerly called Enzymes).......yet her assocaition with both did not stop there.
In 1979, Louise Forestier released this little-known and often-overlooked gem (now long out-of-print, and hard-to-find)......a tribute to Robert Charlebois, covering 8 of his compositions.....and backed here with an excellent band that includes former Vos Voisins guitarist Serge Vallières (guitars), Harmonium keyboardist Serge Locat (piano, synthesizers), Christian Beaudoin (drums, percussion), former Ville Emard Blues Band bassist Michel Dion (bass), and France Castel contributing with additional vocals/arrangements.
Great up-beat pop-rock with a solid funk vibe (and breaks).
