Hype sticker on original release said vinyl was "Clear". It is not perfectly transparent, however. More of a milky clear.

The vinyl editions of this first Skin Yard album aren't as good as the CD reissues, which contain bonus tracks that are better than some of the original album cuts. Maybe if Daniel House and Jack Endino dig up old Skin Yard tapes we'll get more "lost" songs, like Jack Endino mentions in the "Angle of Attack" liner notes. I recommend buying the CD version instead because despite "Burning the Candle"s rarity appeal, you won't miss it much (it's also on YouTube) and the original album is greatly improved by the bonus tracks.

The song "Burning the Candle" appears only on the original 1986 vinyl issue. It was left off all subsequent releases, vinyl, cassette, CD, and MP3 files.
I have a early press kit (circa 1987) that says there were 2000 copies pressed, so 1400 may not be accurate.
Original hype sticker called the record clear vinyl. I added a picture of the cover with sticker, but left the release listed as "white translucent" b/c most probably expect clear to be perfectly clear.
