Reviews
- not too bad, but very evidently pressed from a digital master, in terms of EQ and compression. like another reviewer noted, it is very bass heavy, and we lose a lot of the other elements of the production. vinyl is slightly warped, my tonearm goes on a very bumpy ride on this record.
the music is definitely not as good as its predecessor, but could be a lot worse. - This pressing sounds slightly better than Part 1, but still isn’t perfect. The dynamics are less dull and not quite as shallow, but it still sounds very digital and the bass is far too high on most tracks. Regardless, it is still very listenable and I enjoyed it the entire way through. I had no issues with IGD or background noise, so there isn’t a whole lot to complain about. Still the LPs look and feel cheap, but the embossed gatefold jacket is pretty damn nice. I’d say it is worth picking up this and Part 1 if you are really into this album and want it on vinyl. These are most likely the only pressings that will be offered up for the foreseeable future.
