this is one of the greatest dance records of all time. really nothing else worth saying you just have to listen. every moment on both sides absolutely joyous, infectious memorable. pure energy
So this is the outcome when two of my all-time favourite producers team up in an era with house music still in full bloom (the early 2010s has been good to us). I am excited to see this collaboration still exists and seems to go on (Royal Oak, Honest Jon's). I heavily recommend digging through the whole discography of both producers and keeping a close eye on them if you're into this kinda house music.
Reminds me of Syclops' Jump Bugs- Edited 11 years agoThis is just great. "Deepspeck" is a terrific lo-tech, off-kilter electronic funk jam, and "Speckbass" introduces the Wild Pitch String™ and a snippet of a saxophone or an accordion or something. I've no idea what it is. It just sounds good. So good, in fact, it's better than a hot dog wrapped in a waffle. Gotta love Sex Tags.
