I'm enjoying this record...its going to be ripped from digital. Back to Black do a good job in the mids and boomy lows, usually. Previous review mentioned loose lows which i would disagree with (i think it depends on your setup). I think it's got great separation and sparkles nicely in the right places. Some light noise but nothing to lose sleep about and I'm fussy! For the money this is spot on

Not scratchy, but it's certainly nothing special - just sounds a little flat and dull. Just sounds like an mp3. I suppose it's still nice to have that special sense of occasion you get from vinyl though. 2/4

Unfortunately I had to change this record three times due to scratches, the original sleeve is a killer! Since I didn't want to had two zeros and buy an first press I ended up with this one. I found it a great, great dynamic between guitar, piano, song and strings!

This one sounds terrible. Low frequencies are loose and boomy. I haven’t listened to the first release but I doubt it is that bad. CD versions sound a lot better. Such a shame for this excellent LP.

sounds really good , cant fault it .

when originals are hard to come by because the album didnt really sell - being able to get an affordable quality reissue is very much appreciated.

I got pink moon 2 days ago and on an impromptu trip to a nearby shop to do some crate digging i got chatting with the shop
owner who pulled a bryter layter cd out to play - i said i just bought pink moon and he pointed out bryter layter back to black and this on the rack so i grabbed them and bought them ... all 3 Nick Drake albums in a couple of days , most of which sound as good as i could hope for ...

This pressing is great! Hardly any hiss, pops, clicks or whatever. Can't really understand the bad reviews above. Very pleased with this!

The pressing is fine, and the Vinyl sounds pretty good.

I bought this new and it was quite dusty. Fortunately I clean my records in order to avoid issues with static or dust. This pressing may be missing some atmosphere but everything sounds nice, clean, dynamic, and bright. I have never heard this album on vinyl until this release. I can't compare it to an original, but I found it to be an involving and entertaining listen.

Wonderful music but sadly not a great pressing or source used. Plenty of clicks and pops throughout too although most don’t ruin the music too badly. Not a patch on the Back to Black of Bryter Layter which sounds very good.

                      Disappointing reproduction,
While the overall quality of the sound is ok,
The balance is way off on my copy, heavily dominated by the right channel, at least twice the volume of the left channel, if not more.

                      Very disapointed
