Vinyl done right. This is a fantastic sounding pressing with a nice clear and balanced sound. It runs circles around the later remastered CD.

Listening on an ATLP120XUSB with a VM95ML cartridge.

Agree with several others here. This vinyl is really quiet. Very balanced mix. Sounds great!

the pressing is clear and dead silent on most of the record. really love the sound. I was impressed that I got this for a few bucks here, used, and it sounds brand new. recommended.

Their early work was a little too new wave for my taste. But when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.

I have 2 copies of this album. One I know is one of the Club pressings but the other has 2 very different matrix runout.
                    Side A is (J-TR) FV-41412-A5 GID A G1 and side B is etched P FV 41412 BS P1 stamped STERLING.
