“Funky Stuff” is a very good album indeed but their album “In the Groove” is probably even better.

Great album. Can highly recommend the CD (great sound)
for those who cannot or are not willing to pay hundreds for a reissue. Buy a CD Player for EUR 50,- and you finally enjoy all those japanese funk rarities.... or at least some!

Brilliant album! Instruments and song writing is on point. Great cover of Kool and the Gang's "Funky Stuff"... and track 2 "Funky Motion" is absolute killer! The reissue ain't cheap though!

this album is incredible, truly well-named -- funky stuff, indeed. Fat bass, good variety of guitar sounds, nice horns and organ, crisp drums ... it is an instant favorite!
