- Just got this today really hoping that we'd get a version that isn't overdriven and distorted. It's like they took the CD/digital master version of this and just straight pressed it to vinyl resulting is overdriven grooves and distorting so bad at times that I can't listen to it. It's not every song, but one of my favorites "Ghostrider" is unlistenable. It's really a shame because there is great material here from one of my favorite bands, but them decided that pushing masters as loud as possible on really all the albums after T4E really brings me down.
- This record deserves a mention. Full of passion and, at some point, heavier than ever, the whole work was not fully developed with the original mix and mastering. The band has made a great decision by remixing the songs, the sound now, clearly “breathes”, and is possible to notice new sounds and details from all the instruments, including voice. A different new born record.
The story of the band and mainly, Neil Peart, between the previous record and this one is worth to know.
