Reviews
- The green label RCA Pressings are pretty exceptional..as reissues they don't have inserts and the fancy bits n bobs included but if you look in the run outs you'll find inscribed bilbo or tape one ..they sound very good indeed and in some cases exceed the first pressings ...Heroes cut here on both sides by bilbo aka Dennis Blackman is very nice indeed ..Side A is driven by George Murrays bass which is soft and warm whilst the details are nicely presented..Side B is mostly instrumental and the soundscape is cinematic with rich deep bass ..moss Gardens bass presented as deep and throbbing in and out ..the high easy to pick out ..Heroes is an unusual sounding album with Bowies voice often slightly processed to sound like its through a mega phone..but its presented centre stage across the speakers ..details are very present ...if you like to feel the bass its a great presentation .
- This is an beautiful album by David Bowie and definitley ono of his best. On this pressing the sound is very nice, fresh and crisp. I really love album and can recomendend it.
- Didn't blow me away the same way the Aladdin Sane BiLBO pressing did. Great album musically, but not a demo disc by any means.
- I can’t compare this to another pressing, but this one sounds beautiful as all my other UK Bowie vinyl do.
