Reviews
- Edited 7 months agoThis album is absolutely incredible. Top notch Japanese jazz fusion/funk, and it's worth getting just for the the opening song alone. The other songs don't have the same exuberant energy of "On the Move", but I've come to like them a lot more after a few listens (especially Letter to N.Y.)
Side note: this album gives me strong Pokemon Black/White vibes - "On the Move" sounds really similar to Castelia City, and the vibraphone in "You're Sorry" reminds me of Virbank City. This is totally a stretch, but perhaps the composers Pokemon Black and White 1/2 took some inspiration from this album? Anyone else get that feeling?
