Reviews
- This is an excellent pressing. Dead quiet and fantastic sound stage. I paid 5 Euro for my copy in near mint condition. Very audiophile sounding. [ Playing this using an Ortofon 2M Black cartridge ]
- While one can debate which parts of "The Concerts in China" were recorded live and which in the studio, the fact remains that this is a splendid collection of highlights from "Equinoxe" and "Magnetic Fields", nicely complemented by several new additions.
This LP release is for the most part dead quiet with almost no surface noise - only the second half of "Equinoxe VII" suffers a bit from inner groove distortion.
Quite impressive, considering this LP is rather "lightweight" compared to all those supposedly audiophile-quality 180g/200g reissues these days.
I picked this up used for a mere 6 EUR, quite a bargain.
