So there were two versions of this song released as a single/video - the original was the "Love Unlimited Edit" which was released around March/April 1990, and was accompanied by the music video of Katrin Quinol wearing a bright yellow outfit. I believe this version was intended for the European market, but it also got lots of play on American radio/MTV.

THEN, shortly after, the "Le Freak mix" version and its accompanying video were released in the fall of 1990 (correct me if I'm wrong!)

What bothers me is... I feel like the "Love Unlimited Edit" gets little to no recognition when THAT was the version that received tons of airplay *at the time* of its initial release. The music video for this version has basically been scrubbed from the Internet, and all you can ever find is the "Le Freak" version (which I think pales in comparison). The one time I did see "Love Unlimited Edit" get some love was on VH1's I LOVE THE 90s... the 1990 episode...

Does anyone have insight into why this version has been buried? Was it intentional due to an unlicensed sample or something? Blows my mind.

Sick acid house track, absolutely legendary! I forgot all about this track till it was used in some stupid TV commercial recently. I don't know what the commercial was suppose to be advertising but to me it was advertising Black Box. I recently found this 12" at an antique shop and I'm quite happy to have it in my collection. The most unique feature of this track is the rhythm track with that "Hummph" sample. I never heard anything like that anywhere else.
