I have been waiting this release repress for so long that during this time managed to get to the other end of the earth, to Tokyo, where I found the perfect copy for 10 euros. But... It's needs to be repressed!

Edited 9 years agoFollowing up on his previous work as 1/2 of well-known duo Instra:mental and previous moniker 'Jon Convex', Kid Drama's debut release firmly establishes his name in the experimental music scene. This EP is packed with mesmerising atmospheres, especially in the title track 'In Mind'. 'What Do You See' starts off slow but then progresses into a lush arp (really reminiscent of the Instra:mental sound). For the third tune on the EP Kid Drama joins forces with Hands Like Crime, a relatively unknown producer, to create the deep and brilliant tune 'Retract'. The last track on the EP, 'Grind', sees Kid Drama and Om Unit combine their sounds to create a slightly heavier tune that stands out from the other three tracks. Altogether this EP is probably one of my favourite Exit releases to date. Kid Drama is definitely an artist to watch.
