Reviews
- This is a 90s gem.
The pressing is outstanding, both LP are heavy with great dynamics and audio quality! - pro tip: the 2015 sony EU 180g reissue is a repress form these original metal parts, except the pressing was done at optimal. good sounding copy! get that instead of shelling out for this unless you specifically want this true first press for collectibility.
- Edited 2 years agoStill got my copy from release and it has the sticker which I removed and put on the back at the time as I wanted the iconic cover image with nothing on it, to show off! This takes me straight back to that exciting time of Acid House, warehouses and indie gigs, Disco/Reggae, Punk and Funk, House music and dancing…
Memories :-) - Having owned this album on vinyl for 30 years the music is all killer no filler. The qualty of this first pressing is outstanding and puts the majority of modern pressings to shame.
- I bought the issue looks like this first UK press, with the same label code, barcode, sides numbered on custom labels 1-4, etc. - but it’s a misprint or mispress release, with same tracks on side A and C, and with the same matrix/runouts on side A and C:
Side A and C tracks: Movin’ On Up; Slip Inside This House; Don’t Fight It, Feel It
Side A and C run-outs (etched): CRELP-076-A1 MAT. * YOU ONLY GET ONE LINE...
If anyone knows anything about this issue or has it? - Edited 18 years agoAnother soundtrack of the early 90's for sure, this album is another that influenced me hugely. It also made me take note of the excellent producer behind it who is Andrew Weatherall which just goes to show what a multitude of talent the guy has.
I'll never bore putting this on my turntables. - this is the only other album that was on my turntable in '91 that mattered to me. so many styles represented on this record as the dj becomes the producer.
one big party record.
