I have a couple of original blue pressings. Unless you just "want" an original as a collector, as I did, there is no need in a search for a better sounding copy. This 2013 cut is punchier and more dynamic. Just get this. My copy is perfect, if yours isn't, send it back. I love BoC and this is probably their finest output. For sure, MHTRC is an absolute classic and will probably remain the pinnacle of work, but there is something about this EP. It's just right in every conceivable way. I'd like Amo Bishop Roden played on my deathbed.

Very good repress. No stickers were included in mine though!

My copy of this repress is perfect! No scratches, no surface noise, just a bit of static due to paper sleeves, but just clean it with a brush and it's amazing!

BOC always gives me such feelings I can't describe, especially this EP. Happy to have it in my collection.
            • Excellent music for activities such as studying, doing homework, or anything else, really. 9.5/10

This is a fantastic release. Most of all what I really like about its sound is that it has this airiness that you often do not get on modern vinyl. and that I usually only know from AAA records. I have not heard the CD but I am sure that this vinyl release puts it to shame. The tracks themselves are simple but captivating and one of Board of Canada's best. I love this release and never get tired of listening to it. [ Playing this using an Ortofon 2M Black cartridge ]

Just opened a sealed copy, and it’s scratched. So much for quality control.

My copy of the repress has the hole slightly off centre.
