"Out Of Touch" is hidden diamond eurodance gem here!Must be a release alone!!!When i find this Maxi-Single i notice this bonus track and happy have this my Culture Beat collection..must for CB collectors...
Edited 3 years agoWhat an outstanding release!! First of all, Crying In The Rain has always been one of the best tracks from Culture Beat for me. Radio version and extended version are familiar and great stuff, indeed, but just you wait for it... there's more, and it gets even hell of a lot better!
Track no. 3 is Doug Laurent's ingenious, pounding and full-fledged driver, that is simply impossible not to like. Brainformed Mix is also really great, different enough, and interesting.
Tracks no 5 and 6 offer more soulful and funky disco sounds, being nicely jammy and swengy. But the sugar, oooh, yes indeed, it has been saved to the bottom! Track number 7, labeled "Not Normal Mix" (which seems to be Culture Beat's funny way of saying "Acoustic Version") Is really, really touching and heartwarming, sensitive piece with its brilliant saxophone touches.
But even after that, the single manages to surprise in a positive way, for the last track, no 8 is your legendary B-side's forgotten little gem, that hasn't been released anywhere else, ever. It holds the name "Out Of Touch" and oh my god, I can tell you that it's one of the best tracks ever written by this group! Just give it a listen, and you'll surely agree with me.
This single is lengthy, meaty piece of eurodance goodness, and it's absolutely quality content from start to finish. Every single track is absolutely great. If you've ever thought that original version is unbeatable, I challenge you to listen to this. Your opinion just might change.
Full length Extended, Doug Laurent and Brainformed mixes, but only edits of Sweetbox and Let The Love House. Who the hell makes these decisions, and why??!
on this CD Crying In The Rain (Doug Laurent Mix) is the best version then again I prefer the faster melodies on the synth ;)
